The Capital District Gay and Lesbian Community Council is the producer of Capital Pride, by coordinating a large and dedicated team of volunteers and businesses to host two weeks worth of events throughout the Capital Region. In 2009, Capital Pride had over 10,000 people participating throughout the 33 events, culminating with 7000 people attending the Parade and Festival in Washington Park in Albany. This year is the 40th Anniversary of the CDGLCC and promises to be the largest ever in our history, spanning 13 days and over 40 events!
