Festival
The 2009 Capital Pride Festival will take place on June 14th in Albany's Washington Park, immediately following the Pride Parade and lasts until 5 p.m. We're planning exciting entertainers and activities for this year's Pride Celebration, and as plans are finalized we'll update this page with the latest information including who will be appearing on the main stage, who our food vendors will be this year and who our special guests will be. We're sure there will be plenty of surprises, so watch this space!
Parade Route

The parade steps off at noon in Washington Park, at the intersection of Sprague and State Streets. From there we will march down State Street, over Lark Street, up Madison Avenue and back into the park at the intersection of Madison and New Scotland Avenues.
The festival will begin immediately following the parade so plan to stay with us for the entire afternoon. There will be fabulous entertainment on the festival stage and activities for the entire family!
