Stonewall at 40 years: A Panel Discussion

Join local Capital Region residents who participated in Stonewall Riots, as well as founders of the CDGLCC, to look back at the LGBT movement and discuss where we are headed.

All Aboard! The A-Man is about to launch another Big Gay Pride Cruise. This cruise is a benefit/fundraiser for the CDGLCC and the AIDS Walk 2008.

Tours, storytelling and crafts are among the activities on this special day when The Museum invites people from all backgrounds to come together to celebrate the diversity of family life and the communities that we all live in and share.

Frenchie Davis from American Idol, Broadway’s “RENT” and “Ain’t Misbehavin” as well as the play “DreamGirls” opens the show with her uniquely amazing voice and style. Highlighting the night with her new hit song “You are” from producer/dj Tony Moran. Grammy nominated and International Dance Diva Amber closes the show with worldwide smash hits from her 4 full length albums such as; “One more night”, “ If you could read my mind”, “Sexual li da di” to name a few. Frenchie Davis and Amber, two Divas, one great show!

Downtown Albany (State St, Lark St, & Madison Ave), 12:00 Noon! Free! Come celebrate the Capital District’s great LGBTQ community! The parade steps off at noon in Washington Park
Annual Capital Pride Festival- Washington Park, Albany
1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Free!
The festivities on the stage kick off immediately following the Pride Parade. Join us as Erin Harkes, DJ Dave Barna, Taina Asili y la Banda Rebelde, Frenchie Davis and AMBER take the main stage this year. The stage festivities will be hosted this year by Penny Larceny and Fly 92 DJs Chrissy Cavotta and Shawn Gillie. Eat, drink and be merry in our food and beverage vendor area and visit our vendor/exhibitor tent. We're planning on fun for the whole family, so join us for the celebration, rain or shine!
Roving Pride Closing Party
